Residents witnessed substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts verified that various areas across Queensland had been hit with large hailstones.

Tomorrow was predicted as the wettest day, with continued thunderstorm potential anticipated across various areas of both states.
